Research & Development

The R&D department leverages advanced software tools and state-of-the-art testing equipment to develop high-performance hose solutions aligned with market demands and intended applications, working in close coordination with the Sales Team.

Quality Management

Every day, Transfer Oil receives, inspects, and stores large volumes of raw materials, including polymers, fibers, and steel wires. The Quality Department verifies that all incoming raw materials comply with defined specifications and oversees every stage of production through rigorous inspection and validation procedures. Tube extrusion
Inner Tube Extrusion

Production starts with the extrusion of an inner tube, the first layer of the hose. This smooth, seamless extruded tube is designed to contain the conveyed media while ensuring full chemical compatibility. This phase is essential as it is the foundation of the entire hose structure.

Reinforcement

To withstand pressure, the inner tube is reinforced with one or more reinforcement layers, which can be either braided or spiral. Braided constructions are commonly used for low and medium pressure applications, while spiral reinforcement is specifically engineered for demanding ultra-high-pressure applications, as in the case of our Helix® hoses.

Cover Extrusion

Once reinforcement is complete, an outer cover is extruded using materials selected according to the intended operating conditions. Available in a wide range of colors, all cover materials provide high abrasion resistance and protect the hose from external agents and environmental exposure, helping extend its service life.

Packing and Assembly

The final production stage includes laser marking, comprehensive inspections, and packaging. When required, hoses can also be supplied as factory-made assemblies, manufactured with defined hose lengths and fitting configurations. Each assembly is inspected to ensure compliance with Transfer Oil quality standards and application specifications.

Logistics & Packaging

In-house logistic and full traceability

At Transfer Oil, every order follows a fully controlled internal workflow, ensuring continuous coordination between departments and complete visibility throughout the entire process. This structured approach supports accurate order processing and reliable service, from production planning to final dispatch.

Packaging System

Packaging solutions are designed to protect products while optimizing storage, handling, and transport efficiency.
Depending on hose type, diameter, and intended application, products can be supplied in different packaging configurations, including standardized coils, reels, and cardboard boxes. Each solution is selected to ensure safe handling while preserving product integrity throughout logistics operations. For bulk hose shipments, corrugated cardboard packaging provides a robust, lightweight, and fully recyclable solution. Hose assemblies are supplied in octagonal cardboard boxes, which help keep the product stable during transport while supporting efficient stacking and handling.

Pallets

Hoses and fittings are packed in stackable cardboard boxes and arranged on pallets according to product dimensions, weight, and transport requirements. Standard 80 × 120 cm pallets, including EPAL pallets where required, are used for compatible shipments, while alternative pallet sizes are adopted for oversized or non-stackable products. Large reels and oversized coils are shipped separately to ensure safe handling and transport stability.

Coils

Thermoplastic hoses are available in standardized coil lengths, depending on hose type and diameter. This packaging format supports efficient handling, storage, and transport while preserving product integrity throughout the logistics process.

Reels

Reel packaging is recommended for long hose lengths or when specific handling conditions require additional support. This solution simplifies handling operations, improves transport safety, and provides additional protection throughout shipping and storage.

Label Information

Fittings, ferrules, accessories, and hose assemblies are shipped with a packing list containing detailed product and shipment information, including the batch number of each item for complete traceability.
Each package is clearly labeled to enable immediate identification during handling and storage. Labels include key information such as supplier code, total weight, content (in meters or pieces), package dimensions, and package number. Integrated barcodes support fast scanning and streamline warehouse operations, improving goods receipt speed and inventory management efficiency.
By combining structured labeling with digital barcode integration, the system enables fast data access, accurate identification, and precise handling from dispatch through to final delivery.

Packaging Standards

Transfer Oil is progressively implementing an optimized packaging standard for its thermoplastic hoses, already applied to part of the product range and planned for gradual extension.

Within this system, coil configuration follows a more structured approach. Each box contains coils with a defined total length, depending on hose type and diameter. While many coils are supplied as single continuous lengths, some may include a limited number of sections (up to four), combined to reach the declared total length.

The configuration is designed to increase logistics efficiency by maximizing the quantity of product per box, reducing the number of shipments and resulting in lower transport impact. Moreover, it enables a more efficient use of packaging volume without compromising usability. The overall length remains consistent and suitable for standard cutting and assembly operations.

The transition to this packaging standard is managed progressively, supporting continuity of supply and smooth integration into existing operational processes.

Engineered For Application

Transfer Oil products are engineered not only to meet high manufacturing standards, but also to integrate seamlessly into complex industrial systems and end-use applications

Twin and Multiline solutions
Twin and Multiline Solutions

Transfer Oil offers a wide range of hydraulic hoses available in twin and multiline configurations. This dedicated manufacturing process allows two or more hoses to be combined while preserving the integrity and performance of the final assembly.
The process allows hoses with identical specifications or different hose types and diameters to be integrated within the same configuration. Electrical cables and wires can also be incorporated, matching the requirements of more complex hydraulic systems. Discover more.

Hose Assemblies
Hose Assemblies

Hose assemblies are produced and tested internally to ensure dimensional accuracy and consistent performance. Each assembly is verified for length and fitting integrity, ensuring reliability during installation and application, even under demanding operating conditions.

Stainless steel
Stainless Steel Fittings

For applications requiring long-term durability in aggressive or corrosive environments, Transfer Oil can provide factory-made assemblies with stainless steel fittings. These solutions are designed for applications where material resistance and reliability are essential.
The combination of thermoplastic hose technology and stainless steel components ensures extended service life and consistent performance in harsh environments.
