INFORMATION NOTE CONCERNING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. no. 196 of 30.06.2003 aims to assure that personal data is processed in respect of the rights, fundamental liberties and dignity of physical persons, with particular reference to confidentiality and personal identity.

Under the terms of article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. no. 196/2003, the company Transfer Oil Spa, in its position of Data Controller, is obliged to provide the Data Submitter with specific information concerning the purposes and methods with which his/her personal data is processed.

Source of personal data
The personal data acquired directly or through other sources in the course of company business shall be processed in respect of Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. no. 196/2003 and the standard obligations of confidentiality.

Purposes of the processing
The data is processed during the course of the normal company activities, and in particular:
1. for preliminary requirements at the time of contract signature
2. to fulfil the obligations of and carry out the operations required under the contract 
3. to fulfil applicable legal obligations and requirements (administration, tax, accounting, etc.) 
4. solely concerning data regarding economic activities, for the purposes of commercial information or the provision of advertising or illustrative materials, or to carry out market research or interactive commercial communications; marketing and advertising; market analyses and surveys; promotional activities; customer satisfaction surveys
5. to manage after-sales activities linked to the sold products
6. to control the progress of relations with customers and suppliers and the inherent risks
7. to manage external collaborators
8. for any other operational or managerial requirements.

The Submitter is not obliged to provide his/her personal data, unless otherwise required by existing law, but any refusal to do so will make it impossible for the company to initiate a commercial relationship and fulfil any contracts.


Method of data processing
The personal data may be processed manually and/or using automated, computer or electronic systems that guarantee security and confidentiality to manage, save and transmit the data.

Categories of subjects to whom the data may be transmitted
The data may be transmitted to:
- subjects with the faculty to access the data pursuant to any legal or regulatory provisions;
- credit institutes for the management of encashments and payment, financial institutes, insurance companies and auditors;
- external subjects who carry out functions linked to the execution of the contract (transport companies, shippers, etc);
- data processing and computing service centres;
- external collaborators or service providers;
- marketing survey companies.
The data may also be transmitted abroad, even to countries outside of the European Union.
